May 16, 2014
“X-Men: Days of Future Past” is set to be released on May 23. This is to be the seventh X-Men movie produced and it is already receiving rave reviews; it has also received a nine out of ten viewer rating. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from the past, “X-Men: First Class” in order to form a movie that is sure to excite the McIntosh masses.
According to IMDB, here is the movie’s summary: “Convinced that mutants pose a threat to humanity, Dr. Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) develops the Sentinels, enormous robotic weapons that can detect a mutant gene and zero in on that person. In the 21st century, the Sentinels have evolved into highly efficient killing machines. With mutants now facing extinction, Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) volunteers to go back in time and rally the X-Men of the past to help change a pivotal moment in history and thereby save their future.”
Hopefully students will fine this cinematic feat especially creative as it bolsters various three dimensional aspects that viewers will perceive as real. Students also have the opportunity to purchase their tickets in advance in order to see the movie a day earlier.
