“Doctor: Who” star cast in “Terminator: Genesis”

Matt Smith, former star of the famed sci-fi action series “Doctor Who,” has signed on to play in the upcoming film “Terminator: Genesis.”
According to The Huffington Post, the announcement was made on May 2 by Skydance Productions, who stated that Smith will be playing a character with a “strong connection to John Connor.” His role is expected to expand during the second and third movies.
“Any movie that he’s in I would totally watch just because he’s in it,” said Madeline Lyons. “Even though I don’t watch Terminator I would still watch,” she said
“Terminator: Genesis” will be directed by Alan Taylor and is slated for a July 1, 2015, release. It is speculated to be the first in the trilogy of the “Terminator Reboot” series. The film will also star Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi, Byung Hun Lee and Arnold Schwarzenegger, who reprises his role as the iconic cyborg.
