When most people think of a silkworm, what comes to mind is a tiny green insect. However, what most people don’t know is that it’s also the name of a new book. It’s a novel about private detective Cormoran Strike and his assistant Robin Ellacott and their quest to find the man who killed a writer named Owen Quine.

J.K. Rowling, the legendary author of the Harry Potter series, is planning on releasing her newest book called “The Silkworm.” According to abcnews.com, Rowling was planning on releasing her book under the pseudonym “Robert Galbraith.” However, a lawyer slipped her name out into the public and is being fined for $1,645.

J.K. Rowling, no doubt, is a favorite author among McIntosh students. Harry Potter has been a part of many people’s childhoods and still serves as a popular influence.

Junior Leslie Adams said,”I’ve been a huge Harry Potter fan ever since I was a little kid. I’ve read all her books and seen all the movies, so I’m very excited to read her newest book.”

“The Silkworm” will be released on June 19 in Britain and June 24 in the United States.
