"Anchorman 2" to return to theaters with new jokes

For only one week, “Anchorman 2” will be reappearing in theaters, this time with twice the comedy. Coming to theaters on February 28, the new-and-improved remake of the December movie will include 800 new jokes that will replace the jokes of the original movie.

Will Ferrell, the star of “Anchorman 2,” told “The Tonight Show” that while filming the original “Anchorman 2,” they had a lot of extra jokes, cameos, and new material that they just couldn’t fit in. With the release of the new movie called “Anchorman 2: Super-sized,” they are able to include those jokes and ultimately generate more revenue.

Senior Julia Dunlap, an avid movie goer, said, “I saw the original ‘Anchorman 2’ in theaters, but now I’m excited to see even more jokes in the new version.”

For all those at McIntosh who are above the age of 17 and missed seeing “Anchorman 2” in theaters, you all now have the opportunity to see the new-and-improved version of the movie.
