Chiefs basketball finishes January with 10-12 record

The mens varsity basketball team played three games during Jan. 24-28. They took on Fayette County High School Tigers on Tuesday Jan. 24. The Tigers won with a score of 61-49. Junior Chaz Hardin led the way for the Chiefs with 15 points.

In their next game, the Chiefs took on Riverdale on Friday Jan. 27. Earlier in the season, the Chiefs beat Riverdale in a close game 47-43, and this was an even closer game with Riverdale coming out on top 49-48.

In their final game, the Chiefs played Northside Warner Robins on Saturday Jan. 28. The Chiefs won the game 54-47. With the win, the Chiefs improved 10-12 on the season.

Junior Garrett LeClaire said, “We played hard in all the games, but our game plan worked against Northside.”
