As the school year progresses, winter approaches, holidays begin and temperatures drop. The Young Republicans Club has started a clothing drive with the purpose of donating warm overcoats and sweaters to impoverished or unfortunate people in Atlanta.

Senior Izzy Roberts said, “I like seeing how my involvement with politics will directly help individuals in need.”

This is the first year that the club has participated in a clothing drive.  So far, the club has collected a fair amount of clothes. The club hopes to make the clothing drive an annual event.  Donations from any political affiliation are accepted as the club hopes to give as many clothes as possible to those in need.
