The McIntosh Model United Nations (MUN) club is looking for new members. For any students interested, please see social studies teacher Ms. Janet Hansen in room 222.

In Model UN, students join a delegation of the United Nations as representatives from a certain club. For instance, junior Victor Cama was on the World Health Organization staff as a representative from Angola at the Georgia State MUN Conference. From there, students collaborate with students from other schools who represent other nations in order to create solutions to topics that are assigned by the hosting school.

Junior Emilio de la Mora said, “The club is a lot of fun, and it works on students’ communication skills. Also, it makes a valuable addition to transcripts.”
