Atlanta Fish Market serves savory seafood in casual setting
For those students and families looking for excellent, seasonal, fresh seafood in an intimate, casual atmosphere, they need not look any further than the famous Atlanta Fish Market in Buckhead.
The renowned seafood restaurant, externally marked by sparkling oldtime lights spelling out its name, a colossal fish sculpture distinctly showcasing its location and wooden rocking chairs dotting its outside patio, offers a choice destination for birthdays and other special occasions.
According to the Buckhead Restaurants website, the restaurant’s ever-changing menu is updated twice daily. There is even a gluten free menu. More than 100 seafood varieties abound, ranging from sushi and scallops to Chilean sea bass and calamari. Steaks, soups and salads can satisfy customers who don’t prefer seafood offerings. The restaurant is also a seafood market, hence its name, selling a wide variety of fresh seasonal fish, crabs and oysters.
Inside, a fusion of the old and new keeps hungry customers aesthetically pleased as they wait for their sumptuous meals. A grand mural graces the area above the open kitchen, an aquarium lit up in blue holds exotic fish, numerous chandeliers adorned with multicolored glass provide soft light overhead and wood paneled floors add a homely, old Southern feel to the dining rooms. The spacious restaurant holds numerous dining areas and some can be reserved for large groups.
The restaurant’s phone number for reservations is 404-262-3165, and the address is 265 Pharr Road NE in Atlanta.
