The superhero, Batman, took over theaters with “The Dark Knight Rises” during the summer, and now it’s about to come to television. On December 4, the one billion dollar grossing movie “The Dark Knight Rises” was released on DVD, Blu-Ray, and Digital Download with a “Blu- Ray Cat Bowl” version for all hardcore fans. Viewers can expect to see a lot of never-before-seen movie goodies, including a “Batmobile” documentary, behind the scenes footage, trailers and more.
In addition to this release, the Dark Knight Trilogy, which consists of all three Batman movies (“Batman Begins,” “The Dark Knight,” and “The Dark Knight Rises”) tied all together, was released the same day as the epic conclusion. This five-disked DVD includes the three Batman flicks (in three separate disks, of course), as well as a two special feature disks for “The Dark Knight” and the “Dark Knight Rises”, and a 64 paged booklet called “The Art and Making of The Dark Knight Trilogy”.
Those who enjoy DVDs might wish to add this one to their collection.
