McIntosh Trail

Mackenzie Rose
Sophomore Mackenzie Rose, born in April 2002, joined newspaper for the first time this year and has not regretted her decision at all. Mackenzie is the News Editor and is looking forward to getting more involved in the McIntosh Trail. She runs for Varsity Track and Field here at McIntosh and plays soccer outside of McIntosh. Mackenzie is very involved with her church, Southside, and has been attending Winshape Camps (a Christian Chick-Fil-A camp) for nine years now. She is constantly listening to music and is hoping to attend Music Midtown next year. Mackenzie’s dad has always been an influence on her love of writing, and he has inspired her to begin writing more as she has gotten older. She moved to Peachtree City when she was six years old after living on the outskirts of Virginia, near Washington D.C. Mackenzie has a passion for traveling and can be found jetting away on breaks and weekends to anywhere from California to the other side of the world. Family and friends are a major part of her life, and she can always be found babysitting siblings or hanging out with her closest family and friends. As far as college goes, Mackenzie wants to attend UGA but has no set career that she wants to follow. She is still figuring out what she wants to do in her future, but hopes to attend UGA.
