Katrina Skonberg
Freshman Katrina Skonberg (15) has lived in Peachtree City her whole life. She has grown up in a family of 6, and three of her older siblings have attended MHS in years past. She has explored what the school has to offer with sports and clubs; this year, she has joined the Cross Country team, French Club, Ambassadors, and Young Libertarians. After school, you can catch Katrina procrastinating homework by grabbing Chick-Fil-A or La Mexicana, setting her Eno hammock up by the lake and playing her favorite tunes. Katrina has fun with her appearance. Her favorite finds are ‘’thrift shop mom jeans” that she pairs with brilliant green vans. She also has fun dying her hair, and it went from purple to blonde and green this summer before her mom got fed up and took her to a salon dye it back. As this is her first year with newspaper, Katrina is looking most forward to interviewing and connecting with students for their opinions and writing about them in the newspaper.
