McIntosh Trail

Jack Vaughn
Senior Jack Vaughn, born June 15, 2000, started writing for the McIntosh trail his senior year. He has been part of the varsity swim team since his freshman year, and he plans to continue swimming this year. Being an active student, Jack remains involved in clubs and organizations at McIntosh. He was previously the secretary for Young Libertarian’s Club, and is currently serving as the organization’s vice-president. Also, Jack has been on the McIntosh debate team for three years and was a quarterfinalist at the Fayette County Classic Debate Tournament. Academically, he excels in math and science; he is currently taking AP Calculus, AP Biology, and AP Physics 2. Unsurprisingly, he hopes to attend the Georgia Institute of Technology in the fall. At college, Jack expects to major in Aerospace Engineering because of his academic strong suits and fascination with airplanes. In his personal life, Jack places importance on his family. He takes care of his Golden Retriever, Cooper, and treasures time with his family, specifically his twin brother. He is inspired by all these aspects of his life and will use them to develop his writings as the Features Editor.
