Chiefettes win double state championships for the sixth year in a row

The Chiefettes competed in the Georgia State Dance Competition at McIntosh on Feb. 7. They placed first in both pom and jazz, and they’ve now won double state championships for the sixth year in a row.

The Chiefettes also competed in solos at the state competition. For teen solos, sophomore Lauren Shelfo placed seventh, and sophomore Izzy Roberts placed first. For senior solos, the Chiefettes took first through third place. Senior Ally Cox placed third. Senior Darby Smith placed second, and senior Madi Immel placed first.
