Chiefettes win state championships
On February 8, the Chiefettes preformed at the UDA State Competition at McIntosh. The Chiefettes placed first in both large varsity Pom and large varsity jazz. For solos, freshman Cassie Burke placed third in for junior dance. For varsity dance solos, sophomore Kirsten Fink placed ninth. Senior Kristen Plunkett place sixth. Junior Ally Cox placed fourth, and junior Darby Smith placed third. Senior Cortland Anderson placed first. The Chiefettes also won the Best Choreography award for their jazz routine. Congrats to the Chiefettes for their season.
