By now students have heard  the rumors that Dolce Hotel may be transformed into an indoor water park.

According to Fayette County News, for the past two years this large hotel has been for sale and finally The Great Wolf Resorts Holdings Inc. is considering buying it and is considering adding a water park.

However, the down side is that only hotel guests will be able to have access to these facilities.

Sophomore Jessica Gomez said, “I feel that as a resident of Peachtree City I should be able to enjoy the perks of living here.”

Designing such a large hotel for a small town with few tourists, and not making the water park available to residents is setting up a path to destruction for the company. After all, there is a reason why Dolce is trying to sell their hotel here; they are obviously not making any profit.

Peachtree City barely has any entertainment options for children, teens, and young adults. Creating an indoor water park and not letting them have access to it will just cause anger.

The Great Wolf Resort should consider making the water park available to the public.
