Multiple Fayette County soccer teams, including McIntosh’s, make use of the new turf fields at MOBA Soccer Academy in Peachtree City.

Every Wednesday afternoon, the McIntosh girls’ and boys’ Varsity soccer teams can be found practicing at the new MOBA Soccer Academy training grounds. This facility features two brand new, full sized turf fields and is conveniently located on Highway 74 across from the Peachtree City Athletic Complex.

With the new installation of turf in the McIntosh stadium, the MOBA facility allows the teams to train on a similar surface once a week. While the McIntosh teams are not using the fields at MOBA, it is home to a local Premier Development League (PDL) team named Peachtree City MOBA. The PDL serves as an entry point for amateur players looking to move into the professional leagues. MOBA launched its first season in 2016 but will play its first season at the new turf facility in the summer of 2017.
