JV cross country boys compete at Coach Daley Invitational

The boys’ JV cross country team swept the JV race at the Coach Daley Invitational last Saturday, Sept. 19. Seniors Tyler Nigro and Nathan Stembridge finished first and second with times of 18:18.56 and 18:30.98 respectively. Sophomore Josh Bowers finished third with a time of 18:37.33 while sophomore McKay Moore finished fourth with a time of 18:43.70. Senior Xander Wilson finished fifth with a time of 18:51.40, and junior Jackson Routon finished sixth with a time of 19:32.02. Freshman Rease Henry finished ninth with a 19:41.62, Kyle Ewers finished eleventh with a 19:47.04, senior Denver Williams finished thirteenth with a 20:01.56, and sophomore Garrett LeClaire finished eighteenth with a 20:30.73.

McIntosh runners swept the race, scoring the lowest possible score for a race, a fifteen. Their split was a 0:32. This split is lower than the current number one boys varsity cross country team in the nation.
