In recent weeks, a clown uprising has been making headlines around the world. The craze started in South Carolina in August, as a clown was apparently stalking people in the woods and a child reported hearing the clown “whispering and making strange noises,” according to The Verge. Since then, clowns have been spotted across the nation stalking people at night and wandering up on parked cars. Georgia is one of the many states that has been affected by the craze, and even Peachtree City released a statement warning about the issue.

Freshman Will Sherer insisted that he has seen clowns around Peachtree City. He said,”There’s two in Line Creek, and two by the dam.”

Many other students have been adamant that they have spotted the creepy clowns. Although freshman Andrew Villiger said he has not encountered one yet, but he is already making preparations in case that moment should come. He said, “If I did see one, I would probably try to hide from it before it saw me, but if it did see me, I would run.”
