The McIntosh men’s chorus traveled to Marietta, Georgia, to participate in the Real Men Sing learning seminar Saturday, Sep 11. Real Men Sing is hosted by the Big Chicken Chorus. Big Chicken Chorus is a barbershop quartet group that supports other growing quartet groups. They participated in a large group setting where they sang and learned how to sing in the barber shop quartet style.
About the experience, senior Victor Cama said, “I had so much fun singing with other guys from all over the region. I learned new techniques while I was there and met great instructors.”
Junior Perry Cox, vice president of the chorus, said, “The whole thing was really cool because it was just a bunch of guys singing a fun style of music together. The Men’s Choir is planning on singing at least two of the songs from Real Men Sing at the fall chorus concert.”
