With graduation coming up on May 20, the McIntosh Wind Ensemble has started their preparation for their annual graduation performance. Students in the Wind Ensemble play “Pomp and Circumstance” and “Jupiter” during the senior walk at graduation and when they receive their diplomas from Ms. Lisa Fine. Students of the Wind Ensemble are required to play at graduation, but students in other band classes are allowed optional participation.

Freshman Brook Owen said, “I’m gonna miss all the seniors, so I’m actually glad we are playing at graduation. It gives the opportunity to go. I hope it is fun.”
