Disney’s newest live action film, “The Jungle Book,” is a visual masterpiece. Critics and special effects artists alike have stated the film has performed groundbreaking effects in CGI. The film is mostly CGI, with only a few live action actors, including new comer Neel Sethi, who plays Mowgli with the spirit of the original character of the novel of the same name. Impressive voice actors include Scarlett Johansson, Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Christopher Walken, Lupita Nyong’o and Idris Elba.

The film includes extensive visual effects and music from the original animated 1967 version, which includes “The Bare Necessities” and “I Wan’na be Like You.” It is a wonderful and playful remake of the original film that is great for any lover of Disney films.

Junior Brianna Griffin said, “I loved it. I went in not expecting a lot, and I was happily surprised at how well done the film was. I would love to see it again.”
